From: Heck <heck@acm.org> Newsgroups: alt.fan.tom-servo Subject: Robin and Lori (and Ken) and Heck have met Date: Wed, 26 Sep 2001 01:17:37 -0400 Message-ID: <mpo2rtk9iv6m2aejtuuv7t81924kf0todc@4ax.com> Yes, we all have met and have now even more faces than we had before. We ate Moroccan. Without Robin, who, quite responsibly, parted to go home in anticipation of another day at work, we later had lots of Bass. We talked about a lot of things. Had a good time. Reading one another's posts will be vastly different for each of us.

With live entertainment! I sure wish I knew what that guy was singing... he kept looking over at us and smiling. And you wonder why I was leery of getting my photo taken with him... >Without Robin, who, quite responsibly, parted to go home >in anticipation of another day at work, we later had lots of Bass. > >We talked about a lot of things. Had a good time. Me + hubby + Heck + Bass Ale = lots of Deep Thoughts, laughter, a few tears, more laughter, and as Heck says, a good time. GMOTG. [1] There was also a nifty store Heck took me and Ken to that sold all sorts of outer spacey and new agey type things. It was really cool, and I discovered that my supposedly "clear" nail polish glows under black light. I really enjoyed it. I wish you could have stuck around, Robin, but I understand wanting to get home, as it was a work night. It musta been close to midnight when we finally boarded our train for Queens. We emerged from the subway just in time to see our bus pull away, so we had to wait in the pouring rain for over an hour for the next one. By the time we got back to where we were staying in Franklin Square, it was about 2:30 AM. I hope your commute was a little less stressful, Heck. >Reading one another's posts will be vastly different for each of us. But in a good way, I think. Photos will be posted as soon as I get them back. That is, if they turn out. Some of that roll of film got exposed to light when I went to take it out - my camera stopped rewinding and the indicator showed it was fully rewound, so I opened the camera. Turns out it was still in mid-rewind. Grrr. Oh well, "I don't smoke, so I don't worry." [2] ++ Lori [1] Not a typo. [2] Elf Spat QOTN.

Full of all kinds of glittery and glow-in-the-dark stuff. So much fun! >I really enjoyed it. I wish you could have stuck around, Robin, but I >understand wanting to get home, as it was a work night. I wanted to stay, too. :( But, as I said, it was lots of fun to see Lori again and find out what Heck looks like in person!
